So we are on Day 3 with no heat upstairs (so we have very cold bedrooms and bathrooms). The new circuit board is on its way.***UPDATE: 10:05 EST we have heat!
****I have 4 layouts in the works. I keep walking by and adding or subtracting things. Trying embellishments out and then changing my mind. I can’t concentrate on them with the heating situation.****
So what to do to distract me and de-stress me.
1. Come up with a new recipe and go food shopping. Dinner tonight: Pasta with peas and bacon with basil in a creamy parmesan sauce a la Nigella Lawson.
2. Watch some TV:

Netflix “West Wing” This has been so wonderful to rediscover. It is amazing how it covers so many of the same domestic and international issues we are still dealing with.

- Re-watch the last few Dr. Who episodes to get ready for the new season (which starts March 30) also on Netflix
3. Catch up on some reading. Currently: “Dream Fever” by Preston & Childs This is a “Special Agent Pendergast Mystery Series” He is like a modern day Sherlock Holmes.

i just love netflix! we are currently watching downton abbey, mad men- waiting for the last season to come on, and a classic show- quincy from the 70′s and 80′s!
