Welcome Home…Lots to catch up on

Welcome Home…Lots to catch up on

I am writing a quick post as I am out the door in a few minutes to drive my son to the airport so he can finish the last leg of our trip.  Then I am finally back home and no travel plans anywhere on the horizon.  This was a crazy 6 weeks with me being out of the house at least 4 of them in total.

We were lucky on this last trip (to ski in Vermont) with much scrambling and last minute maneuvering, we were able to get out ahead of another winter storm.  The 1/2 of the family that stayed home was stuck in 2ft of snow and another State of Emergency (which at least meant my daughter didn’t have to drive to work).

As you can imagine, my house is a wreck and I am way behind in lots of things.

While I was gone my 2 Peas and Studio Calico March kits arrived. I have a pile of bills and household papers to complete and file I have to update my planners (and do a video soon of my new system).

Of course, there is the food shopping and a massive pile of laundry not to mention I think I’ve only swished the toilets these last few weeks and a major clean is in order. (Now I have a very sad face).

Anyway, I am glad to get home and can’t wait to get back into my daily groove. I have lots of pics to scrap and am only a week behind in Project Life!

See you soon :)

  1. I always find coming home from trips to be so exhausting (lol)
All that relaxation goes right out the door!

How exciting to have those two fun packages waiting for you. The bills, not so much I am sure. Mine are needing to be done, too :p

  2. Sounds like lots has kept you busy and you have a lot on your to do list but I admire the fact that your orders are setting on the counter and you have had the restraint to keep from ripping into them. I signed up for a kit club ( my first) and they ship today….I will so be stalking my mail.
